dosraider *Update*
Tried that game, even if it can run in dosbox/W3.x I can't advise it, it's a lot of hassle, you'll need compliant videa drivers (I used Tseng highres), you'll also will have to load share.exe from freedos, install VFW1.1, and some other nuisances ....

Easiest is to run it in VPC2007/W98SE
Notice:
Your CD MUST be the FIRST available optical drive. (or CD image, an ISO will do fine here)
You MUST install the game in VPC/W98SE
You MUST install VFW 1.1 in VPC/W98SE

If you do all that, game runs really fine in VPC2007/W98SE.

... no pain, no gain.

You have filled your windows sysfiles with a lot of completely obsolete DLL's, EXEs,COMs and INIs, and a whole lot more of that stuff ...... not one of those ol'sysfiles are compliant to a modern OS, ah well .... back to that game.

Also no idea what 'err 21' means.
But you shouldn't try to run games from a partition root in that ol'windows.
Try this:
create a folder on your C: (IN DOSBOX !!!!!) let say 'BA2220' or something (keep it simple and short), then copy all the files folders from your D: to that folder, and try to run the game from that folder on your C:

And a bit more details about this:

Eagle of Fire To be really frank with you, dumping screenshots of your trouble doesn't give me more insight on what is happening...

Thought about goggling that famous error #21?

The Fifth Horseman Someone didn't read the instructions, I see. You were supposed to run windows.bat inside DOSBox. That isn't stated directly, but should have been clear seeing as the whole thing is supposed to be ran in DOSBox.
If you did what that screenshot looks like to me and unpacked this stuff to the root of your system drive, you've just borked your system up big time.

If you really put those ol'W3 files in your sysfiles, I have no idea how you ever gonna clean that mess up.

The Fifth Horseman Try running it in Windows 95 compatibility mode. If that doesn't help, run this in DOSBox and the game through it: http://www.abandonia.com/vbullet/sho...48&postcount=2
