The Niles This question has been placed in the administrators section for their convenience and debate. In other words the item is on the agenda.

Guests can type in a name when they post and if everyone had to register then we would be clogged up with inactive users.
Well for example John Johnson is unregistered and he posts something and in name line he writes John Johnson and some other day his "friend" comes to forum and posts somthing like that "I`m stupid, my mother is a cow and blablabla" and in name line he writes John Johnson.
And i agree that guest could post only in trobleshoting thread.

I think that quests should be limited in that they can only post in the troubleshooting section. That way we have the best of both worlds. No 1000+ registered members with a single post and also no guest posts in parts of the forum we don't want them to post.
That's what i said, but my post got erased...
Anyway i support Picard; i mean guests shouldn't have access to all the forum topics

Data Personally I think that if somebody wants help the least he/she can do is register so it's easier to distinguish between all different guests

Havell And the majority of the troubleshooting threads come from guests.

Tom Henrik That isn't very friendly, now is it?

Guests bring flavour to the forum. At least that is what I think.
