Eagle of Fire Don't hesitate to get back here for more help. If the natives stay restless I'll handle them. LOL

All what we ask you is to take the time to understand. Or try to understand. 90% of how to play old DOS games was to understand how to start them first, the other 20% were pure enjoyment.

DisposableSaint Ok thanks, I'll find a WINrar and unpack it then.

Mighty Midget Look, DisposableSaint, what makes me wonder is this: You really don't know what a RAR archive is? A ZIP? 7z? They're archives that need to be unpacked, using either WinRar, WinZip or a similar programs. A RAR file is not the game itself but a compressed archive with the game files inside.

Un-rar the archive into a properly named game folder in your "fake C: hdd" folder.

DisposableSaint Whatever I'm doing it's not a prank. I'm trying to get these games to work but no site except for yours seems compatible with DOSbox.

Eagle of Fire 1) Why did you place it in the same folder than a game you already have?
2) RAR is an archive type. You need to unarchive it, usually using WINrar.

DisposableSaint Ok, a new problem (ugh). I downloaded a game from another site and put it into the flash folder. It comes up on DOSbox but it won't let me play it. The file type of the game is RAR. How can I either convert it to make it work or simply play it?

Advice: DOSBox doesn't like directory names longer than 8 characters or containing spaces. So don't use any such ones.
