No

No, not any way. Not a single download manager supports resuming on abandonia.
Helpless...,but that's the way it is .

Danny252 obviously you can use them, you can't resume though.

what is wrong with resuming? does it use more bandwith, because I wouldn't think so. It just uses it at a different time. But i CAN understand accelerators.

Danny252 I believe you can use getright with the accelerator off? I'll just see.

wendymaree Ok. Thanks for letting me know.
But I have d/lloaded with one here. Is this a new policy?
If you use a modem, it makes it tricky to download the larger games if you can't resume after a cut off. I can understand about site bandwidth if you're using an accelerator, but I hope some time in the future d/l managers might be permitted.

Tom Henrik You can't use download managers on this site, sorry.

PROBLEMS DOWNLOADING

I've always used a download manager to download games. Very handy if you're cut off as you can resume and dont have to start from scratch. But over the last few days the download manager keeps bringing up error messages, and won't work. But if I download in the normal way without the d/l mgr, I've no problems. Are these programs still allowed? What could have changed?
