The Fifth Horseman http://www.oz.net/~steelsrc/ appears to have been their official website. Digging on what's left of it shows two e-mails: KuanYu256@hotmail.com jaybei@hotmail.com
Might still be valid?

As for the game's status, if it ever was available commercially then it's certified abandonware. If it never was, all normal rules regarding freeware apply. The latter seems more likely.

Expack2 I couldn't find any information on Arkane other than the information and links already provided by rainfeather and kryt3n. As such, the game doesn't seem to be sold anywhere, the developer/publisher isn't an ESA member, and the game doesn't seem to be supported either.

Could someone please confirm the status of this game?

EDIT: Wait, this does seem to be the full version. At least there is no indication of it being shareware...

I'm trying to track down the authors, I'm sure it would be funny for them to hear that someone actually remembered their crappy game from 1999. I emailed the Andre LaMothe, who was the founder of Xtreme Games, to see if he knows what happened to the Sant brothers
What a coincidence, I was looking for this same game. I remember the game over skull would always scare me as a kid but i'd max the volume anyway haha. Good times.

kryt3n Found it here (there's lots of old shareware on that site), and it is indeed by Sorcerer Software, but not for the MS-DOS platform as the happypuppy page suggests. It's a Win32 game wrapped in a Win16 installer, so I guess intended for Win9X. Maybe it will work on more modern Windows with some compatibility settings...

Arkane

Hey all, been lurking for a while so here goes my first post

So I have this memory of an obscure old game called Arkane, by Sorcerer Software. I thought it had disappeared with absolutely no trace, until my brother found this archived page of happypuppy.com

I am pretty much positive it is abandonware, since they were offering the game for download on this page

I even tried looking up the creators, to no avail! Does anyone have this game on a dusty old floppy??
