I really can't help you with the DLL file unless you give us usefull information. Such as your OS, what you did to try to solve the problem and/or where the problem originate. Thank you. |

Running Games Problems Hello there, I am a newb and willing to admit it. Obviously, anyway, I joined mostly to ask a few questions and nothing else really. Mostly it's the question of the file "SDL.dll" which nothing I get from this site, seems to have. I did download one, SDL.dll file, but when I use it it tells me "The procedure entry point SDL_strlcat could not be located in the dynamic link library SDL.dll." Now when I said I was a newb, I wasn't kidding, I know nothing of DosBox (or does in general for the matter) and I know nothing about Dos-Games, I just know I like old games like these and so I thought I'd give some a try. This leads into my next two questions. 1. Can anyone recommend any good Dos-Games? 2. Can anyone give me a general idea about DosBox and how it works? I really hope someone can answer these questions, and of course the SDL_strlcat problem as well. Thank you in advance to any who helps or even attempts to help. P.S. I put the SDL.dll file into DosBox, click-and-drag style. And now everything tells me SDL_strlcat even when I click on DosBox to open it. |
