Did you try running the game using a lower version of Windows in the compatibility tab? Did you try opening your graphic card program and desactivate most of the graphical options? Especially anti-aliasing and the like? -EoF |

Mmm, didn't think that about dxdiag... I will try it. The readme is no help at all. I tried every compatibility option mix possible, to no avail. And desktop resolution isn't the issue, I tried it. I think the problem is with the video card, but doesn't help me much Thanks for your help, anyway. I will try the directX thingy when I get back at home |

Try a uninstall/reinstall? "RUN" -> dxdiag ? Lower the settings .... something? Is there a readme with a troubleshooting section? Some param you can add? Rightclick on the game's exe and set some compatibility settings...? Lower desktop resolution...? Dunno really, but those would be the first things I would try. If that all fails, VPC2007 ...? |

Slam Tilt! I love this game, but I can't play it in my PC since a few years ago. Why I waited until today to ask about it, I don't know. But here is my cry for help. I start the game and the screen goes black and nothing happens, except windows making the error sound. When I return to desktop via alt+tab, I find this error window: "Application Error: D:\Juegos\Slam Tilt\SLAMTILT.EXE The instruction at 0040ebda referenced memory at 0111ad80 The memory could not be written Click on OK to terminate the application" When I pass the mouse pointer through the error windows, it disappears until I reach the other side. I press OK and the error windows disappears, but the game windows is minimized and when I left-click it and select exit, the non-responding program dialog appears. This bug started when I installed my nVidia GeForce FX 5500 with 256 mb. I have Windows XP, 512 mb RAM, AMD Sempron 2600. When I was using the integrated video chip, I didn't had this problem. Well, I hope that someone can help me |
