If this is in DOSBOX, then Dosbox isn't regestering your available freesize correctly.
(You have too much for Dos standards )

You have to add the following in your [autoexec] section:

mount c "C:\dosgames" -freesize 800

Where "C:\dosgames" is the location where you keep your DOS games.
That should do the trick.

it was installed from the disc and everything is where it should be

annoying MAX problem

Just got an old copy of MAX and tried to run it on my laptop running windows XP, when un from windows it just doesn't start, running the batch file with VDM sound emulator gives me a black screen and DosBox gives me an error saying
