Stinkin_Cheeze Oh ****...I'm such a moron, it worked. You're down right genius r.u.s.s.

All right, I got another question, sorry. Is anyone else not getting the opening sequence with the DeLorean flying into the sky?

_r.u.s.s. have you ...well... try pressing anything?

space, for example?

Back to the Future II....won't start

For some reason, when I start this game it only shows the very beginning, then skips to the game's credits and high scores list. It keeps repeating this over and over heh---does anyone know what's wrong?
I did this:

mount c c:\oldgames\bttf2\
c:
dir /p
bttf2 exe

then I choose option 4 and AdLib for the sound. I notice there's two files bttf.exe and run.bat...both do the same thing when I use them
You'll have to excuse my ignorance, I'm new. Please help if you can
Thank You

crolma4 I bought this game back in the day. It came with a neon-green baseball cap that I still have.
There was copy protection, you had to use a floppy, which made me nervous about the day the floppy goes bad.
I think that was it. I see there's a codebook in the middle of it, the type designed to foil b+w photocopiers.
I didn't like it very much (no joystick). I played it on a 386, which also still works. Now I use DOSbox for linux. k:

Some useful information out of the manual:

Q = up
A = down
O = left
P = right
space = fire

F1 = toggle pause on/off
esc = exit and return to DOS
F10 = decreases/increases joystick sensitivity; adjusts game speed

Then they describe the joystick controls and the amiga instructions, the C64 instructions.
The missions are described. things you want to pick up (pepsi, tennis shoes, newspaper,
baseball, plutonium). Other bonus items:

S = increase hoverboard speed
A = temporary boost in scroll and movement speed
P = totally restores your energy

Also, it wasn't Chubby Checker who overheard Marty playing Johnny B. Goode, it was Chuck Berry, the guy who wrote the song.
