Am playing on my PC with Windows XP, but can't find a manual for PC; nothing on replacementdocs. Found a manual for Sega Genesis which is fairly close, but not totally helpful. Am wondering how to choose multiple units to attack from one district (ie. Springfield); which keys do you use? So far I can only choose one unit per district. Please help!

The Fifth Horseman I'm not sure just how close the SNES version is to the PC one, but you might want to take a look at this: www.replacementdocs.com/download.php?view.1219

Game is all scrambled

I have DosBox installed (it came bundled on a CD that also included the classic Colonization game) and Liberty or Death initiates when I run the Koei file. The intro runs (with no sound) and I can read P. Henry's speech, but then all the text is scrambled once it gets to what appears to be a main menu. The text is completely illegible. If I hit enter a time or two, I end up seeing a picture of what looks like G. Washington and I can read an "AYE/NAY" choice, but all text is still "scrambled." Also, there is no sound.

I can live without the the sound I guess...any suggestions on how to correct the scrambled text??

Help....

Hey guys, maybe 1 of you can help. I am playing this on WinXP, & there is no sound(no biggie). The real problem is that I don't have a manual for the game & I haven't even seen it since it was new on Nintendo. Therefore, I am lost when it comes to the conditions for being able to do things, i.e., troop training, going to battles, moving, etc. Is there a manual floating around somewhere, or can some1 give me the general guidelines ? On, a side note, this site pretty much kicks butt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just run KOEI.COM instead of LIBERTY.EXE

The Fifth Horseman You may need to configure the game. Look for EXE, COM and BAT files in the game directory other than the one that runs the game. If there is one that's called INSTALL, CONFIG or SETUP, run it.
