How can i get good sound (Soundblaster?)? Startline parameters?

Thanks.

Just downloaded it and tryied it myself. Worked flawlessly with DOSBox 0.63.

The sound may seems "shitty" for you, but I'm pretty sure that it's the original sound and music for the game. I remember playing similar games on my old PC (Crack Down comes to mind) and the sound and music is so similar that it's about the same.

I think what you have already is the best you can get. If there is a way to get better sound with the command prompt then I knows nothing about it.

Does the game support Soundblaster sounds in the first place ?

Sorry, not sure about...

And I'm almost sure it doesn't...

At least there isn't any "config" or "install" file and when you run the "xenon2.exe" file, you'll only get a "graphics options" and a "costumise keyboard" option, and once you are inside it, there are only "1 player game", "2 players game" and "music on/off" options... there's nothing about sounds.

I am using D-Fend shell for DosBox.
My machine is (AMD Athon 1100[socket 362] 512 RAM)

Try to change sound card type. May be there was no SB16 at the times of Xenon2. Try to use old SB.
At least PC Speaker works fine. Try to change "CPU core" to "normal" or to "dynamic".

Sometimes I am using an old notebook Fujitsu FMV Biblo(cpu=Pentium I, 233MHz).
It is good for old dos games. Try to get something like this. I think it should cheap ~100$.
Old notebooks have a hardware sound blaster.

Did you change the cycles of DOSBox by hitting CTRL-F12/CTRL-F11?
[/b]
My observations shows:
1) For no reason any changes(up or down) done to CPU cycles at runtime lead to perfomance decrease.
2) Changing CPU cycles in a game profile does what it should to do.
