Scatty | Actually it just suffices to have only one account that is there after Windows XP is installed, that one has always admin rights. |

Did you forget to give yourself admin rights? Typical install of windows XP sets the primary user as admin user as well so you should have unless you are connecting to a network server then maybe that's why you can't do it since that will send a whole new set of rules for users. Easily fixed by going in as Admin and then set up the permissions for yourself to allow everything. |

Bobbin Threadbare | When you installed Windows it asks for Administrator password. Right-click on the setup and go run as. Then select "the following user". Type Administrator, then type the password. Or reinstall windows. |
