We currently do not host the OST of Hannibal, but I guess if you had written a thread asking for it in Request Games, we could find someone who has it.

malevoiy they should rewrite the code for real time and multiplayer, that would be great :>

btw. you get most soldiers from negotiation with carthage-friendlies or neutrals (besides mercenaries)
and you can lower the rebellion ratio - simply put an army into your colony

btw. has anyone the music of the game extracted?

celibat The game is very interesting and tough one. You need a lot of time to finish it and you must conquer step by step, without rushing it. It's almost impossible to conquer Rome by siege. The better way is to conquer so much cities that the game gives up itslef. Tactics are important during battles and depending much of the armies you have.

Very entertainment one!

Japo I love this game's premises and it could have been awesome for me, but I must say it's VERY poorly made. It seems as if they tried to win the Guiness Record for worst interface ever. The AI is nonexistant and there is no challenge.

Well I guess it's addicting enough to beat it at least once. I'd love some game about this but better made. I think I'll try Rome Total War afterwards, it's sitting on my shelf still wrapped and all.

This is just what happened historically. There are plenty of nice books if you are interested in the subject.

Alliances in those days were shortlived. When Hannibal's main force was far away - his "allies" easily turned against Carthage.

laiocfar The game is good in general terms but it can become quite annoying. Example: armies fighting with a 3 to 1 advantage that loses; or unprovoked revolts; or 20% desertion rate per march in your biggest army who is heading to Rome.

Japo It was made by a small company and wasn't a very popular game, it's likely that the makers didn't live to fulfill the sequel. :_(

I liked this game but long into the war my rich Spanish cities started to revolt for no apparent reason... :S I wonder if it's supposed to be some kind of event hard coded into the game... I quit playing. I'll beat it some day...
