Gamefreak | CTRL+F8 is frame skipping, not the increase of emulation speed. You increade the CPU cycles with CTRL+F12 and descrease them with CTRL+F11. Also you can set the emulation speed in dosbox.conf (it's a configuration file for DosBox in case you don't know, in text format) to the amount you want DosBox to start with each time. It's under the [cpu] part. |

Hi, Can anyone give me advice on how to get the speed slower with Dosbox? CTRL+F8 is faster, but slower? I've been trying to play Hat trick (old 1982 hockey game) and Decathlon (yip microsoft 1982) but both are just not playable at the moment. I appreciate some short suggestions! Thanks Bjorn |
