new remake out there

there is also a recent remake out there, that looks exactly like the original, but runs on new systems (and provides SAVEing ability, too):

RRS Found a freeware remake of this game, called Atomic.

It's so old part of it's website is gone, you have to use your detective skills to dig up the old file.

Szilvio It was a very nice game, which we played with friends on a PC 286 and later on 386 in the early 90's. It's a pity, that some other "education" games are not exists or not so nice... I also downloaded it due to nostalgic reasons.

trAJik As a kid *cough cough* I played this game alot on my 286.

I just played it for the first time in 16 yrs and I did the first few levels without actually thinking, purely automatically. Actually strange that i knew i must go for that atom next, not knowing why.

I never did finish it, but I never knew how many levels there were (now know there are 30) I'm sure I was close.

Great game, nostalgic reasons aside!

cheers

Guest The *trick* is not to think about it with you full attention. It comes easier when you are doing something else at the same time. I was talking to a friend and somehow made it to Level 8 in no time. Love this game!

Guest I do not care so much about puzzles these days, simply because I have more than enough of their real-life counterparts (job, family, and all other real-life activities) now. However, back in my college days years ago when I still had enough brain cells to spare, I did play this game and it was (I guess it still is) terrific! Thank you for this addition! I have downloaded this game for nostalgic sentiments. k: k: k:
