Fun piece written by Richard Cobbett on Rock, Paper, Shotgun over the weekend. I would recommend checking it out, he's also very good for responding in the comment thread. Gaming Made Me: Leisure Suit Larry |

UnconformistSheep | Is the walkthrough from Sierra, or some of you guys written it? It is very funnily written; kudos to the author. |

This was also one of my first adventure game and I played it when I was a young boy. I remember that anyone that I knew back then had played the game at least once. I played at a friend's home and we had to play it in secret  Now I see this game again, and I wonder what was the fuss about (not about the game, but about the "naughty" status of the game. Now it seems almost innocent :nuts |

This was the first adventure game that I ever played (many many years ago) and I was hooked straight away. I played nearly every Quest game that Sierra made and any other adventure game I could get my hands on. After years of being sidetracked by consoles and working life, I have decided to go back and revisit the time when I had to think about games and not just run around hitting things. So it is fitting that I start again with Larry Laffer and plan to work my way through as many games as possible. Thank God that this site exists (and that I kept as many of my games as possible - which is a good job as most are still protected) and I hope that I have many great nights ahead. As long as my wife doesn't complain. |
