The Fifth Horseman IIRC, DosBox can mount ISO and BIN images as CD-ROM drives.

blastradius14 That saves a lot more hard drive space than my suggestion, and will function much more like the original game than copying it to disk. The only problem then would be your physical cd drive, or the cd itself. A tiny crack on the cd can render some games entirely useless, and a broken cd drive will render many more games useless.

Apocalypse Dude ok here's a part from the DOSbox helpfile on how to mount it:

Q: My CD-ROM doesn't work.
A: To mount your cdrom in DOSBox you have to specify some additional options
when mounting the cdrom.
To enable the most basic cdrom support:
- mount d f:\ -t cdrom
To enable low-level SDL-support:
- mount d f:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0
To enable low-level ioctl-support(win2k/xp/linux):
- mount d f:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -ioctl
To enable low-level aspi-support (win98 with aspi-layer installed):
- mount d f:\ -t cdrom -usecd 0 -apsi

In the commands: - d driveletter you in DOSBox
- f:\ location of cdrom on your PC.
- 0 The number of the cdrom drive, reported by mount -cd
See also the question: The game/application can't find its CD-ROM.

The Fifth Horseman Is the CD-ROM drive configured properly? CD-ROM drives must be MOUNT-ed separately, and with special additional parameters to work properly. The game might not "see" a CD-ROM drive present.

blastradius14 Copy the cd to disk, then either image it or mount the folder as the cd drive for it. Then make sure the config file (if it has one) says that that is the cd drive its looking for.

Just a thought.

According to the review there aren't. But are you sure DOSBox is set up correctly?
yes.... it is set up correctly. I had read about this problem sometimes back in the internet by one of the user but... it seems that there isn't reply. (can't recall which site i'd been)

Odd. Are you running it in DOSBox? That worked for me the last time I tried it.
any other ways to do it?

Have you tried running the game with a random CD in the CD-drive?
I'd tried but to not respond. The dos just went off....
