Eagle of Fire Vista forbids programs to save anything except in your "My Documents" folder.

Try reinstalling the game in a subfolder over there and see if it fix your problem.

Jenc Solution is simple - just create a new folder in the Apocalypse main directory, named Savegame. The game cannot probably make this folder by itself (game is presuming that it already is there ). Then you will be able to save

X-Com Apocalypse + vista

Ok first let me start off by saying, i cant mount everything fine, the sound and mouse works fine(which is the biggest problem ive found)HOWEVER, when i try to save it like imediatly deletes my save file, and cannet store it anywhere for some reason.

I tried to install from cd but it hangs on the "reading cd rom speed" part(any help on this? cause this might fix the problem) So i took a different method and just downloaded it from the site. Ive tried a frontloader and just the original dos box running the program and the same things keep happening. I just want to be able to save my game. A game i tested called "dune" saved just fine.
