Don Andy I may of course be horribly wrong, but it seems you tried to just open the Installer in plain Windows (XP, I presume), which in most cases doesn't work.

Try setting up DOSBox (Tutorial and Download on the site) and try install through DOSBox. Worked for most of my old games, that needed an installation.

Oh, and you of course should play it with DOSBox, too

VDMSound could too be an option, but I'm not very experienced with that, since I use it pretty rarely and it manages to confuse me every time

Zirocrath I got a version of Ultima 8. It's a 48mb .rar file. I don't know if any of you has it like this or not, but that's not the important thing.

There's an install.exe file that I've to run to install the game, right?
Well, when I open that file a dos windows opens with a red banner appears saying that I haven't sufficient memory (it requires 3580000, and I've 1440000), I close that banner and I proceed to the installation. After I press enter on the INSTALL button the windows closes and the game doesn't install at all.

Any Idea of how can I install it?
