Caesar II

Kosta and I are having a little argument about this game. So we are looking for you Abandonians to solve it for us, before we start sending eachother small bombs in the mail...

Would you say that Caesar II is a Strategy game or a Simulation?

I say the game should be a Simulation, because it follows the same lines as Sim City.

Kosta means it is a Strategy game because Moby Games and Titan say it is.

What do you say?

It is simulation. City building is always simulation. Strategy is for wargames not city building games. I agree with Tom.

It is a simulation(city building and so), but it is also a strategy(combat)

Is there any way to run it outside DOSbox? When I try to run it in XP it freezes and mouse problem in Dosbox is driving me crazy.

Of course it's simulation...Pharaoh is a Sim, Ceasar II&III are Sims and Zeus is a sim....
