a.j you dont have to be to rude (even tho it is quite funy) its just how the person writes

PS: 1000 POST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, but I do think everybody can at least make an effort to type properly. "2" for "to" only saves you a single keystroke. "u" for "you" saves you two, so you can't even claim it's efficient. "ta", on the other hand is rather handy - seven characters saved. LOL

i' m sorry to be :ot: , but what does "ta" means?

edit: to go back "on topic" :D where did ad master go? he needs to be more specific if he wants to get help

double edit: @A. J. - ta :ok:

how'd you save 7 characters with ta? what word is 9 letters long and is abbreviated to ta...
plus, when you can touch type and work out when you misspell without looking at what you're typing shorthand really isnt useful. useful when you pay per word....

A. J. Raffles

Well, I always thought "ta" was a short form of "thank you". "thank you" has nine characters (including the space, but that's a keystroke as well, innit?), "ta" has two. Q.e.d.

Write proper English, man. This is a fair warning. None of us likes to read posts that are written like that.

The only improper English we allow is when some guy in Nepal tries his best to write in an unfamiliar language, and messes up occationally with the grammar.

You, however have no excuse. You obviously could write proper if you wanted to. I suggest you do so.

By the way. When I use DosBox, all that happens is the first line in dos appear (The one who tells you the version of the game and the creator) and then it just comes to a halt. I can wait forever, but nothing happens.

in the transport tycoon thread is your first post

*thinks*

It's listed in a post somewhere, innit? I think I remember a topic that looked into the history of the forum, whith some of the first posts done by the admins...

EDIT:

HAH!

That was only my second post! :bleh:

How about some guy in norway messing up occasionally with the spelling?
