Hi folks. I’m looking for a game I once had. Used to play it a lot but lost track of it and can’t remember the name anymore.

It is a Windows Game (probably released in the past 5 years) which was kind of a tower defense game but in space. You played a person that was destined to defend your homeplanet and were put in a vessel/tank to do this in a kind of hyperspace or such. Aside of that it pretty much is a plain tower defense. There also was a being helping you from time to time and there was a bit of storytelling after/before every level. For example time passed way faster in real world than it did for you and after several missions you get a visit from your daughter, which wasn’t born yet when you left.

Please help me out here. I’m loosing it and I don’t have any clue. When I try to google, I’ll always end up with some flash games (which it definately wasn’t).

Looking forward to your help…

I don't know, the most popular tower defense game in the last 5 years was Defense Grid: The Awakening, I think. :mhh: Also, the Perimeter games have a tower defense thingy.

I appreciate the effort, but sadly it’s not what I am looking for :(

It was more of a budget-game or shareware game. The "turrets" you could place where more of a transcendet kind. Can’t even describe it better. Sorry! It definately took place in outer space and not on a planet.
