I am trying to remember a game i used to play and i think that i saw at abandonia (at least something inspired on that game)
it is a game like sopwith (http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/637/Sopwith.html)
but you play on a platform like simcity (i mean 3d buildings, the view is from top) it was quite simple. you had to complete some missions that were usually to destroy some building and some other buildings were to avoid (citizen houses and hospitals).
do anyone know what game i am talking about?:wondering:

Maybe Zone 66 (http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/387/Zone+66.html)?

How about syndicate? ... i loved that game... except for the latest one because the 3D buildings would get in the way and block your view... same as a later simcity too... sometimes you couldnt get at fires

Zone 66 (http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/387/Zone+66.html)looks like, but this one wasn't so futuristic
and Skyshark (http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/727/Skyshark.html) looks too classic. Maybe something in between.:worried:
Imagine exactly Sindycate but instead of agents an airplaine.
Any idea?

What about "Seek and Destroy"?

If you're talking about an Isometric game, I think you might be talking about Desert Strike, where you're a "helicopter"(Spelled wrong, I know) pilot who has to destroy buildings and sometimes save people located at certain places...

Thanks a lot for your concern after 3 months!
both games look a lot like the one i am thinking of but it was not a helicopter, it was a classic airplane. Anyway, the graphics and game play is almost the same. thanks a lot anyway i will play Desert strike it look like lots of fun. :)

Kind of reminds me of Blue Max, but I'm pretty sure that's not it.

There is Blue Max: Aces Of The Great War, from 1990 by Three Sixty Pacific.
Runs fine in dosbox 0.72.

If you want to run the original, plenty ZX emus around.

Yes, i saw that one also but it is not like the original blue max made for commodore. the view is not the same and the game-play changed also. thanks anyway:)

Well, if anyone is interested, I did a little search on the internet and found this two interesting links:
Here you can play the original Blue Max for commodore directly online (http://c64s.com/game/406/blue_max/)
Here you can get a remake of Blue Max with completely new graphics (http://www.freegamearchive.com/game.php?id=9282) (so it does not look like a remake but the game-play is the same and also uses simplistic controls, anyway it looks very nice)

It was? Cool. I wasn't sure, since you were talking about avoiding civilian buildings, and I pretty much just bombed everything in the game :amused:
I played BM on my Atari XE back in the day (which I still have). Not as pretty or as nice sounding as the C64 version, but it plays well. Other than what dosraider posted, there aren't too many entries for the series. There is however, a Blue Max 2001 for the C64 and Atari 8bit, which is a futuristic take on the same basic idea.
