Joystick Undetected

Having a problem with my joystick.
It has been installed correctly,
it works on newer games /Freespace, Freespace 2/.

But when it comes to older games,
it cannot be detected.
resolving in messages like;
You´re joystick is not connected.

Solutions?

Let me guess. You have a usual joystick port and second port of your soundcard. Your joystick is connected to one of them. Right?
If yes, try to connect to another port. Also if you mean that the joystick isn't detectable in DosBox, I'll have to pass there then. :angel:

that isn´t it.
Haven´t got a port in the soundcard

dosbox and windows.

Is your joystick connected trough USB??
