Hmmmmm... when trying to start the game in Windows XP professional, nothing happens. When trying to run it in DOSbos, there is just a window that produces messages "illegal write to xxxxxx" at an insane speed. (xxxxx is just a placeholder in this post, it's some combination of numbers and letters, but I can't read it as the messages fly by so fast...)

Can anybody help me?

uhm try disabling sound.
and or changing the cpu core used in dosbox.
