My collection: 60gb+ & A wall full of disks
It's just way too much to list, but here are some details:
Most of it is from backup: original iso, or floppy. Most of it is DOS, but some is Windows. A lot of it is untested. My brother and I collected for years without even installing some of the games (sorry Starlancer I got on ebay for $2.50). Some of it's probably downloaded from the server at my dad's work. We used to play a lot of games back in the day. 4 gb in 1994 was INSANE. Some of it has cracks or hacks. Sorry. It's how it goes with old software. I don't think I have anything with trainers installed. If something is requested and approved, I'll check out my collection, since I probably have it. There's no way I can list this all. Please don't ask. I won't upload anything protected - even if I have it and it's the best game ever. I won't upload anything by a rls group (or at least I'll try not to. There are only a few of those anyway). Please don't request games you know are protected, because I might not know. Then I'll search, find, install, and test it without knowing. Then you've wasted my time and upset the admins. Admins: If there's something you have that has CD version (that you don't have) like Amazon: Guardians of Eden or Flashback, ST: 25th and Judgement Rites (specifically those come to mind), please let me know. I probably have it. Retro gaming should be fun. I hope I can help! 12-13-10: removed 1997 restriction. 2002 is the new date. Last edited by Dishy; 13-12-2010 at 08:48 PM. Reason: removed 1997 restriction. |

You needed War in Middle Earth? I was unaware of that
Anyway, Dishy, you don't have to upload Tower of Souls since I'm currently playing it and will review it soon. So far my archive runs perfectly, if some problems appear, I will contact you (although it is said that game has some bugs later on). If you really want to help from time to time without asking admins, check here all the games that are approved for the site and inside each topic you can see is archive still needed. I'm glad to see that you have Eagle Eye Mysteries No one seems to have Chrono Quest for DOS... |

LHA is just another compression format. What's inside could be very well the DOS game.

New Acquisitions 08/25/2010
If I recall, these versions are not posted on review pages, but I may be off or have misremembered.
Today's acquisitions are: Shannara, CD, original Albion, CD, original Missing on Lost Island, CD no original source. Chewy Esc from F5, CD-rip. Mission Critical, CD Orion Burger, CD Saw a boxed copy of Orion Conspiracy on sale at one of those crappy computer shops that still sells Pentium II's for $600. I'll see if I can get it. It looks like it's the cd version. Still no Chrono Quest. Work has picked up this week. Please feel free to respond to this if you need something, but I may not be able to get on it until the weekend. I still invite people to put in requests and I will search the collection, but the original rules still apply. Please- No not PM me with requests. I can't email things on the side. If it's not against the rules in the first place, then it's just too much of a hassle anyway. Pick your reason. I can't do it. -Dishy |

Incoming! Tie Fighter Collectors DOS ed. stuff!
I've got a boxed copy of the DOS version of the Collector's cd on its way. I'll upload everything but the iso (protected)!
Tie Fighter was and is one of the best space sim games of all time. I'm proud to say that after years of searching, I finally have a non-windows 95 collector's cd. Watch out for updates! |
