Ok I only have Line In on my sound card and I would like to record in-game sounds and stuff. So I enable Line in and what I get is very low volume sounds with like no bass in them. So can I fix this somehow?

Line In? Do you connect it to your stereo? Is the stereo's output at a decent level? Are all your computer's volume settings ok?
Mic usually has a higher gain than level in. You could try that.

You should also use some decent recording software, I know that with cool edit you can amplify the input.

If you want to record sound on the same soundcard you play it from, you must make sure your soundcard can operate in "full duplex" mode.
