I downloaded this game but I have this little problem... I start the game, but it crashes immediately, saying that "Pandemonium has caused an error and has to be terminated". Compatibility mode doesn't help. Any ideas what could cause this problem?

I have this same problem. Does anyone know of a way to get it to work?

I'm running on XP SP2 I think.


EDIT:I think the problem has something to do with the directdraw, as I had to disable that to get other games running.

I've tested it a while ago in VPC2007/W98SE: no problems.

But to be honnest, it looks much better if you run the PS version in a PS emulator ... just saying.

Must have screenshots ... somewhere if I can find them.

Fact is that if it wouldn't be illegal I would prefer running PS games on it, they would run better than on a real PS.
Shame Gran Tourismo for ePSXe isn't legal, it runs GREAT on it.

BTW, I'm not so sure that Pandemonium runs in VPC, no 3D support in VPC.

Tried to get it running in a window in XP .... nope.
Goes full screen.

As you can see, better get a PS emulator and run it that way, much better then in VPC, seems it can't handle the graphics very well.

Can anyone help me?
Every time I complete the first level the screen freezes...!! Which means I can't get to the second level. :'(
And sometimes while playing a level, the 'speed' will change rapidely so I can't know if I run into one of them monsters..!! o.O

I am playing on my Vista computer.

I play this game loooong time ago and I taught I've never see this game again I am so happy to play it it is been arround 10 years
