Yes I think it's being terribly exaggerated because of hatred of Microsoft. It's being even said that Vista will delete your programs, I don't believe that.

Vista only would delete incompatible programs I think. If it did.

I don't think any firm MS included is going to delete from hard disk any third-party software whatsoever. It's third party, i.e. not theirs, and no firm is such a world domineering villain as some people claim MS to be.
