i think i can help you...
from what i remember windows 98 still has the dos itself so no need for dosbox
you just need to find where you run it from i cant recall but i used to use it allot at the time its accesible.
secondly this works for on dos box but you should try it out at yours as well, just type
"cputype 386" without the quotes ofcurse and then run the game. it should work logically thinking from my side.

stuff, tried starting in both DOS and Win, still no go. Is my
system too fast? I dont think I can use DOS Box in Win 98 SE but
not sure. Sound not an issue as far as I know. I found one
post about LOL III saying a black screen meant resolution was
not set correctly maybe this is it too. not sure yet, thoguh i would
check here for any ideas first.
