Default Blake Stone - Aliens Of Gold [GoG]

it was like wolfenstein 3d, a lot like it. but you fought aliens instead (or monsters one) i remember this one thing, like there were aliens behind jail cell-like force field bars...and you pushed a button and freed them, so that you could kill them and get ?treasure?...maybe? ...it was a really good game, and the closest game i can think to it would be wolfenstein 3d......wow that was a crappy description...hope someone can help!

Blake Stone? If so, it's still being sold at 3D Realms.

Yeah, pretty sure Blake Stone was the one he's referring to. It wasn't bad, but the second campain in wolf3d was crazy with those mutants. That was hairy for the time... Another goody but oldie was where you were a wizard and you used magic from your hand to kill demons and skeletons that'd come up from the ground. Cant recall the name at the moment... but it was fun.

It was called Wolfenstein 3D - Spear of Destiny and was a stand-alone expansion to Wolfenstein 3D, a game on it's own, which continued the story.

Nope, both Wolfenstein 3D and Wolfenstein 3D - SoD aren't abandoned by ID Software. And I think there were more then 10 levels in SoD...

If you want to play Blake Stone , the first episode is available as shareware at the 3DRealms/Apogee site.

Oh, it's also available at my site, (see below)
