Actually, I see Arcanum as superior to both Fallouts...

I think Arcanum was seriously let down by it's crappy combat system, Fallout, however, has a good combat system.

Both combat systems are pretty much the same. Only difference is the added dimension of Fatigue, which IMO adds a degree of realism (you can stun enemies easier then reducing them to 0 to -5 HP level - but same applies to you :w00t: ).

Well, combat in Arcanum really was annoying, but combat shouldn't be the game-defining aspect of an RPG anyway. The game was still great, regardless of how jerky the fights were.

The best RPGs are the ones that were made by BLACK ISLE or BIOWARE.
And Morrovind is good. I played JAGGED ALLIANCE 2 for about 10 times. Worth playing.  k:

I'd say BG and Fallout series, Morrowind and Gothic are great, but there's something missing, Arcanum, I haven't played it...

Planescape / Fallout.
Fallout 2 got me so addicted that I forgot I needed to use the bathroom once, and was quite surprised when I soiled myself :blink: . Planescape is just dang good. |
