If you have a problem you should hit the report button - alerting the admins is the way to get flaming/spamming/etc dealt with. This applies in particular to game discussions since hardly anyone reads them (as in, mods and regulars are only likely to look at ones for games they know and like)

Of course, I agree. My originall Revolution topic was stupid, I know, but it had some nuggets of truth. Think about it: most of the admins (not all) are just admins because they like to bully people. And bullying people on the net is just like squishing a bug. Woohoo, you feel so powerful.

When it all boils down...this site is just a way that people take out there stress after work or chores.

Think about it, and you will realize that all the admins are carefully selected.

Kosta = Owner.
Titan = Co-creator of the site.

The Picard = The most serious member and a great allround helper.

If one of the admins was only out to warn and/or ban/suspend users, he would be banned himself on the spot. All warnings and all suspensions/bans are discussed in the Admin Forum, and will only jump into effect if ALL the admins agree on the action.

So if you recieve a warning or something else, every admin has agreed that this was the most fitting response to something you did.

What's going on is that you slagged off the admins and Tom responded by explaining carefully to you what they all do and the procedure that goes on behind the scenes. Yeesh!

You're not public enemy number one, you just get on people's nerves by moaning about "unfair" treatment (which is the same as everyone else's) and the admins - nobody had a problem with them before and nobody else does now (except maybe a1s after the quote thread was closed) - they're having a "day of anti spam" and this discussion isn't helping - if you don't like the admins/mods, why stay here?

So in plain english, if owner/admins/moderator like to keep this site clean of s*it, you should respect that. It's no democracy here...

Whats silly about this whole site is that unlike any other forum I have ever been to, you guys hold yourselves with such ridiculous seriousness, like I am public enemy number 1 and win98 is number 2. Its actually funny! And I am sure many on this site would agree.

No offense dude, but if anyone is putting a "public enemy" label on you, it's yourself. I haven't really seen anyone else do it (except maybe for a few members who engaged in minor flame wars with you), and I certainly haven't seen anyone do it with win98.

As Tom said, the admins are picked by Kosta based on their abilities and dedication to the site. I haven't seen many forums where it didn't work like that, and I can't imagine what a forum any other way to do it (well, I can, I just can't imagine that the forum would be run better). And, BTW, (again no offense intended) you said that this was your first forum, in the foum poll a little while ago, so I'm not sure what you're basing this on.

Also, I don't see why you can't have fun as it is. Obviously this would depend on your definition of fun; if you only find flame wars and spam funny (and I'm not saying you do) then you probably won't think this forum is much fund. But if you enjoy discussions about games (and anything else you might like to descuss) then this is as good a place as any, and IMO better than most.

Finally I'm a bit confused as to what communism has to do with it all. :blink:

I believe everything is going fine, there is a lot of respect between the members and most of us know when we're out of line (which does not happen often to begin with)
Thus, I suggest, we simply forget about this entire 'revolution', as there is no need to sow seeds of disorder.
