Didn't see Star Ocean on this list... definately a worthy contestant. But besides that I agree with majority... Chrono Trigger and FF rules

I like SNES too, but unfortunately some games that I very much like are available only on NES, the games are Galaxy 5000 and Wizards & Warriors III, so I like NES little more

My SNES Favorites:
Secret of Mana Final Fantasy MQ, 2,3 Illusion of Gaia* Soul Blazer* Earthbound* Chrono Trigger Secret of Evermore Breath of Fire 1,2 Thats all I can think of right now...All the Great RPGS was on the SNES. Sega didn't have nothin at the time except Phantasy Star (Giggles) Earthbound was by far my favorite, the storyline was so serious, with lots of humor on top of it. |

SNES and NES has ruled the console games for yonks back when they were out... and sometimes I think they are still surviving today if there were new games out for it... how else explain the love for roms?

Simply - today's games lack that special enchanted something that made out the games back then. Today it's mostly graphics, graphics, and some fun to throw in for selling value, but evenso, the games from the old times were developing, there was a search for new, many new ideas came. Today's games are more or less similar to each other, there's little new to discover except the rush for graphics, or so it seems.
