I can't get Tyrian 2000 to run on my computer the compatibility thing said its compatible with Windows Xp which i have and DOSBox but whenever i click on the setup file it says "the system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications." please help me

You need to run the game using DosBox or VDMSound. Same applies to its setup program.
Don't bother trying to run it in pure Windows, cause that ain't gonna work.

You can get VDMSound from our programs page, and most recent version of DosBox can be downloaded here.

Don't forget to read the program readmes - I know most people don't give a damn about these, but when dealing with emulators one should ALWAYS familiarize themselves with the documentation.
