Oh nuu!
I just had a mini heart attack, my stomach quirked and turned and i felt the bile and fear in my throat...
I was just playing Fallout 3, and was trying to find a metro to set up a town in in Real Time Settler Mod in praise of Metro 2033, when SUDDENLY..... Shit... WHEN SUDDENLY A BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH ERROR MESSAGE FLASHED FOR .25 OF A SECOND, THEN MY PC RESTARTED Then on the restart it said microsoft has recovered from a serious error blah blah blah, but is there something wrong with my comp? PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW IM SCARED FOR MY BABY Stupid Norton, im relying on Comodo Anti Virus to make sure there isn't a 3rd party involved... EDIT: It appears now with Comodo, Fallout 3 isn't working, maybe just cause of the scan? I hope my game isn't wrecked.

Have you experienced this problem with other games, too?

its 1 am and im going to bed, i will in the morning, but interesting fact; was just playing FO3 again, and same thing happened.
Ill play Metro 2033 and stalker CoP, medieval 2 total war, and oblivion tomorrow to test a fraction of my games to see if it happens again. If nothing else works, i blame it on 2 things 1. My FO 3 is bugged 2. RTS mod for FO 3 is bugged, either way ill have to nerf fallout

My brother's PC had a similar problem, except his computer had a BSOD and restarted immediately after logging into Windows.
Try the following: - Insert your Windows CD - Restart the PC - When the installer is loaded, press R to get into the Recovery Console - Run 'chkdsk c: /r', change c: to the drive you have Windows installed on |

You do have the right specs to run FO3 right?
S.T.A.L.K.E.R used to do that to me all the time, but I was desperatey trying to pretend I had a better laptop that what I did.

I'm not a computer expert, but I got blue screens when I was playing L4D. It's most likely caused from the PC overheating or something.

it can be anything...
first, it does say some kind of specific error on top of the bsod. some error call that is specific for you, this will tell you where's the problem. if you're not sure take a pic also, might want to check out the view system event notifications (in control panel->admin. tools->computer management->system viewer) and see what error was happening at the time when bsod happened and at last, this belongs to technical stuff
