The intro scene should run after you launch INTRO.EXE.
If it doesn't, maybe try rebooting your machine into DOS mode and running the executable from there? |

This isn't normal.
My best guess is that the game doesn't like your hardware for some reason. *sigh* Please post details of your hardware setup. |

since normal quest.exe works in windows. try running your "intro.exe" via dos commandline (in windows) and look if there s a message after your intro.exe crashes/doesnt start

To the_fifth_horseman
CPU - 400 RAM - 128 Graphic card - Riva TNT 2 64? HD - 20 Gb Audio - ESS 1968 Or something like this. _r.u.s.s. Rough translation from Russian: the program has performed an incorrect operation and will be closed. I get this with all exe-s except for quest.exe. When I run quest.exe in Windows I don't get to choose settings. |

Most of it checks out as allright. Is your graphics card AGP or PCI? Do you have a spare older PCI graphics card to try running the game with? |
