I know I have no chance of getting a yes but I will ask anyway since I have for the last close to 18 years now.

Anyone has and is willing to sell the original version of Colonial Conquest (SSI) for the Atari ST? I don't have much money (about 10 GBP for the rest of the month) but if someone has it and is willing to sell it I will sell something to get the money for it.

Because the people who have marked it so low have no idea of a good stategy game if it beats them on the behind.
The game is a simple yet deep strategic masterpiece. It is not perfect and the graphics are not very good (as you can see from the screenshots of the ST version you have posted here) but the gameplay is AMAZING. The fact that after all these years it is still my favourite game of all time of all formats and types, says a lot for what I want it in an original form. :-) I have been playing this game almost every week since I got a copy of it in 1988. (the game was first released in 1986 for the Apple II).
I am usualy in "everyone has the right to like or not a game" mood, but not for this game. If anybody thinks this is a bad game, he can go and tuck himself. :-p

Unless....he has the game, then yes it is a crap game, wanna give it to me?

Yes many of us gamers LOVE this game, I don't know why bad revies where given but it is a GOOD game!
Check the web & Underdogs for manuel, maps and good reviews!
