No wonder the C64 didn't last. Look what NES was up to in 1988...

Whee. I better read the manual, 'cause this game is unlike any I've played before... If Seb says it's worth a four (and he's not the only one claiming this game is good, btw, check HOTU for instance) it must be allright...

@Triton: How many programs did you write on your NES? It's a bit unfair to compare a game (and graphics) specialized video game console to an all-round personal computer, imho... The graphics of the C64-version where even worse btw...

Screens om MobyGames

The C-64 was older (1984 if memory serves right) than the NES and the last games were made in 1995! You can't say that from your NES: ten years after NES was introduced they didn't make games anymore for the NES, as it was replaced by the SNES!

Your memory serves you bad The C64 and PC versions was released in 1988. AtariST version was released in 1987. Source:

And by the way: even in 1988, C64 version graphics was very good!

I think they look worse, judging from the screenshots... but that's not the point. I don't think the graphics are what makes this game interesting. I regret that the game lacks any kind of intro which explains your mission... you're thrown into this complicated stats-screen right from the start... this is not intuitive.pity.

I remember the game from my old good C64 times. And the only difference between C64 and PC versions is digitized photos of crewmen - on C64 they were black and white.

As for the start of game - you are right. Back in the 90 I spent lotsa hours before I got to know what's all about

To set the record straight - the left one is PC and the right one is C64 (I think the C64 pic looks better) - decide for your self!
