I've been trying to sort this problem for a while. I have a original CD copy of Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe. I used to love this game, which makes it even more frustrating that it now refuses to install.

Halfway through the installaion, after creating the directories, it asks me to insert my DOS disks so that it can copy some utilities. I've tried all this DOS floppies that I can get my hands on, but the program is still not satisfied.

Any ideas how to solve this? Or do you know where I can download old DOS utilities?

Please help! :help:

You might want to check out the answer for SWOTL and the complete setup here at VOGONS for the way to make it work.

The directory structure for SWOTL requires that three DOS utilities are to be located in the x:\DosGames\Lucas\DosUtils sub-directory for the game to function. The utilities are APPEND.EXE, JOIN.EXE, SUBST.EXE which are never used with either the NTVDM or DOSBOX. The best way to run the game is with DOSBOX.

Hope that helps...
