I am new!

I found this board when I was searching the web for anybody who could explain me how to slow down my pc for playing old dos games.
Well, I found nobody who could, but I think this board is gold, so I joined you!

I hope I am not the oldest here

I started gaming in 1983 on an Apple ][ and never got rid of this curse *g*

Hallo?

Are you from Scandinavia?

Anyways... WELCOME!
(Why do you want to slow down your DOS? Just download DOSBox, and you have complete control over the speed).

Welcome!

Don't worry, you're not the oldest member (I think that would be Romano - he's about twice your age).

Don't worry about not knowing the DosBox programme. It's really useful and if you're still comfortable with DOS then it's a real treat. Typeing instead of clicking - I love it!

Thanks alot for that link, i just tried it out.
Uhm... i still know DOS, but...
I have to figure out how this tool works. I think i like it, though

EDIT: I do not have an american keyboard. This DOSBOX seems to have it as default. Where do I find the backslash?

Desperately searching for Mr. Backslash

If you have a good (or average) DOS knowledge, you should manage to help yourself by typing INTRO and HELP....

As for the keyboard, the program comes with a mapping utility so that you can customize your own keyboard. Never used it though.

For me the backslash is right above the right CTRL key.
