Hello!
I grabbed an old combo sound/vga isa 16bit card by ATI, it has a soundblaster/adlib sound onboard and an ATI all-in-wonder VGA.... 2in1!
but it has some strange connector with 9 pins that breaks via an adaptor to sound input+output...
guess what? I don't have it!
anyone can provide info on this?

Sound likes it one of those special ones that manufactures like compaq use to save money while building pc's.

found it!
I was looking at the wrong connection, it has a connector like a joyport, only with an extra row of pins... this is where the breakout cable must go, I made a simple adaptor for output!

Well done I have a problem like that with a compaq awhile ago. In the end Igave up because I could not find any plug to plug into the port as it was funny on the compaq at the pc end.
