Default Please read! VERY important!!

I recently downloaded Alone in the dark 1 and in the folder there was a file called "IMPORTNT.EXE". I opened the file and I saw some sort of advertisment and when I tried to delete it it said that it was already running so I couldn't, but I looked in the process list of taskmanager and I found nothing.

I suspect this file to be a virus!! Can someone p.l.e.a.s.e. figure this out for me?

Don't think so. If it is a virus, then it is a very old one
I deleted this file using right click + delete!
Btw. I have a very good antivirus protection.
So, don't worry, and enjoy the game

When this (try to delete something and windows dont accept "the program is still runing" happens to me i do this: CTRL+ALT+DEL, I go to the border processes, and i finish the process "Explorer.exe", do CTRL+ALT+DEL again and in border Applicatory i click in the button New task ("Nova tarefa" in portuguese or the 3º button to the left to right) and i type "Explorer.exe" (Without quotes) and push enter button and now i can delete that archive

If still to stow distrustful, goes in Start, Execut, and types " msconfig" e press enter. Go to the border Services and inicialization and verifies if it has something strange, some program or company who you do not recognize to have installed.

SOrry my bad english and for my necessary terms not be the corret, I am Brazilian and some words possess a skill more than to write for diverse sensible and I do not know which the used ones in English.

jesus christ, it's not a virus. if you actually took some time and run it in DOS, as it was meant to, you'd see that it's a warez a group demo. if you feel still insecure you can go to kaspersky online file-virus scanner and try for yourself

i'm lockingthis thread, once again, it's not a virus
