Uh, I have been using a video recording program "Fraps" for some time and I was wondering - is there anything better?

When I say better I mean:

Is it free?
Can it record infinitely (not just 30 sec for each file)?

If you can recomend anything better (maybe youre using it or smth), just post.

I don't really think so, FRAPS is the most used program.

I used to use another one, but I can't remember it's name.

Good ol' Print Scrn-button for me. Of course, it makes taking screenshots of full-screen platformers that'll have you restart the world from lvl. 1 over again each time you need to paste the screenshot a living hell.

I'm also looking for something that will be able to record for about 1 hour 30 minutes, to document a speed run game. FRAPS is nice but the 30 second limit is a major pain in the back.

There's actually a website dedicated to speed runs, you can try to contact them and ask what tools the runners normally use.
I'm not quite that sure, but registering for FRAPS makes it alot better.
