If any individual wants to see the edits before they're uploaded and discuss them that's not a problem. Have you reviewed anything tuttle? if so i'll make a note on the grammar forum.
Yes, and I'd like to see any changes before they're made please.

You know, I just thought of something: Abandonia doesn't need a grammar editing group at all. Reviews for each Abandonia site should only be submitted by native speakers, thus eliminating poorly written reviews altogether.

Respectfully, I disagree. I've seen shockers from those for whom English is a first language as well as those who come from non-English speaking countries. I usually spend up to an hour editing the reviews, so it'll be great not to have to spend that extra time updating. I'm really grateful for the work of the Grammer Busters.

I take that as a compliment :bleh: English's my third language, but I know I write better than some Americans on here. Still, does this mean I should stop writing reviews, simply because my native tongue's different than English? Shall I go write u instead of you, like I've seen some native English speakers do?

In actuality, the Grammar Squad will help a lot more people get involved, I think. People who may have been afraid to try writing a review will now have their very own safety net.

I think I made that point about being a native speaker in no way equating to a good grasp of the langauge somewhere before.
You're right about that, tai - I had a PM the other day from Lizard with his new review so I could have a look at it for him before uploading and I'm sure it helped!

I strongly disagree with this! This would limit the number of people able to submit reviews quite a lot. I myself aren't bothered by the occasional error in a review. I can't speak for Kosta off course, but since he's not a native speaker of English (and most of the admins and frequent submitters aren't by the way) such narrowmindedness would have never brought Abandonia where it is today. :not_ok:
Let people blunder and let the newly founded Grammer Squad *all hail the GS* fix their mistakes! k:

I totaly agree with you Reup (but I actually stopped reading/replying to einherjar's posts, since most of them are quite hostile).

Me too - I don't think he likes me much

Cheers for the hailing Reup! You may start to see the fruits of our labours soon; some reviews have been finalised and should be uploaded before long.

I agree
While einherjar's idea is good in theory, it could never find a place here.We are a multicultural site/community, and that is not going to change.
