Patch
vBulletin is patched, so now the vBulletin software is on the qui vive when eugene425 is posting, eugene425 can't double-triple-quadruple post anymore.

Cheat
vBulletin has inbuilt codes that needs to be activated by eugene425, when the code is activated eugene425 can double-triple-quadruple post.
The code needs to be activated manually by eugene425 every time he logs in.

What both have in common is that they are derived from the game source code and have to do with the game engine and its features. The cheat is a programmed feature of the game. The patch is intended to amend issues found with programmed features of the game.

The first part I liked, because all deployed and clearly. But the second I do not understand. Because of the words amend issues. What does it mean?
p.s.In general, the responses of previous respondents, oddly more sanity and clear.

Thus, both be software code. But the patch is required for installation because it fixes bugs games (usually rather old). A cheat just for fun.

Haha, you got me there. If anything I would say patches have more to offer.
