Default Alien Legacy

Hi,

Strangely enough my favourite game of all time is missing on this site and as far as I can gather it is not ESA-protected. It is freely available for download at underdogs if you don't mind waiting 1.5 hours to download 9.5 MB.

http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=39

The game in question is 'Alien Legacy'. It is a bit of a jack-of-all-trades with aspects of milennium 2.2, civilization, homeworld, simcity, and even some arcade shooting at 'Rampage' style monsters. Strangely enough this all works out fine due to the immensely satisfying plot which keeps you on your toes all trough the game.

The plot in short:
Your colony ship, on the run from aliens, arrives as second ship in a solar system. However, the first ship, and its human civilization, are missing. Wreckage and clues as to what happened to them are strewn all over the system. After a rather quiet start the first disaster looms, and right untill the end of the game, you will constantly have one or another disaster looming over you . Can mankind survive all these threats ? Are you the man/woman up to the job to pull our race trough ? Play this gem and find out.

I wouldn't mind writing a review if desired. I'd just like to say Abandonia rocks k:

Cheers,
Lodewijk

Lodewijk

Well oddly enough - Underdogs have some ESA protected games! This is one of them!!!

All Sierra games are ESA protected - see HERE!

And even if it wasn't Sierra, it would still be Dynamix :P

Both Sierra AND Dynamix are ESA Protected.

No offence, dudes, I own a legal copy anyway  (it's broken however, which is why I downloaded it). I was misled due to the fact that during my walkaround on underdogs I found a lot of games marked 'Protected by ESA' or something along those lines, so I figured it wasn't protected.

Bloody shame tough :not_ok: , this game rocks. Can't get it anywhere - out of stock.

Cheers,
Lodewijk

According to our OldWarez list - http://www.abandonia.com/main.php?nav=awlist, Alien Legacy is ESA, so it can't be added to the site. Sorry.
