Yes, box shots are a good ide as long as we supply scanned originals. Sites that have box scans are very protective of that content....

what about ebay? ppl who are selling old pc-games mostly provide some
box shots there, which to my knowledge shouldn't be protected in any means.

of course, we have to be lucky to find appropriate images there, but this
might be an alternative...

If we want to do this it would require a massive opperation involving the entire forum. We could only put box scans online if we have them for the majority of the 330+ games we have online right now. Making sure the scans are genuine and not stolen from other sites would also take a lot of time. Changing the page layout, another big task.
The added value is not great but it is fun to see how packaging changed over time. Not entirely sure it would be worth the effort.

And I am not accusing you of anything. I am only saying that we would need to make sure everyone who provides box scans is as trustworthy as you are. We do not want a rerun of the trouble we had a few weeks ago.

I think there's no need to change the layout... you could change just one of the screenshots for the box art

Boxart and screenshots have different dimensions. We would deffinitly need to change the page layout for this.
