Very good review. I could not agree more.

I remember playing this on my Amiga computer. The graphics were slightly better, and I suppose the sound, too. My impression was that this could have been a superb strategy game. Unfortunately the gameplay is full of flaws. It's so bad that it drags down the fun.

Microprose's Sword of the Samurai is a far better game.

Umm, I tried to run this game and it seemed to run ridiculously fast. I could not build an economy or anything because the months just ket on scrolling and i kept on being attacked. It isn't even a super fast computer @ 500mhz. Can anyone help?

If you run the game in Dosbox, you can do this: Ctr+ f 11, it will reduce the speed of dosbox, now it can be more slow to you play it. k:

You can use one of the various CPU Killer utilities on the net to temporarily slow your machine down.

You do realise that when this game was released a PC with a 25 MHz CPU would have been thought of as super fast.

Oops, my mistake, I reread your post, a 500 milli whatever-hz-is is presumedly quite slow.
