Police Quest was a large part of my gaming when I was younger. I have a Lets Play for it on Youtube Here. Hope that helps anyone trying to get to the end of this game.

Help with F keys on Dosbox.
I have the game up and running, works great but the "F" keys won't work properly...the action associated with the F key wont work. For example F10 is supposed to activate the lights and siren, but it is assigned to restore game. I've tried multiple downloads of the game and it all shakes out the same. Any advice would be appreciated!

Thats is odd, F7 should be your restore button, press escape and look under File, next to Restore it should have the key for it. F6, F8, F10 should be your lights and speed control. I know the version I have uses these, and the version I had as a kid used the same buttons.

Nice PQ back scan. I've been looking for a good one. I recently restored my old one in Photoshop, but the colors don't look as natural as the one uploaded here, especially Jim Walls' skin tone. Any chance I can get it as a 400+ dpi PNG?

We only have a 4MB large 300DPI JPG with the same pixel dimensions as the one on site. You would have to ask Kronos who submitted the boxshots.

Ok, I'm gonna drop one of my best keep secrets on you people. This is something that I've discovered throughout the course of my life playing this game. To my knowledge it is undocumented anywhere else. Ok. Instead of typing "open door" or "close door", you can simply type "o door" and "c door". This especially makes hitting the streets a breeze because you can type "o door", press the f4 key to get in the car, then type "c door" and press f4 again to be on your way.
You can also simply type "on" or "off" when you hit the showers. This all helps makes it possible to smoke The Death Angel. |

As I recall - and it was 20 years ago - you simply walk round the car
